Terms & Disclaimers

Last updated: 13 September 2026. This is not legal advice.

1. What this edition is for

Venue Hi-Fi Player is built for businesses that want to play royalty-free music in their venue: royalty-free radio streams, Jamendo (with your own client ID) and local audio files you own or licensed yourself. It exists precisely so a venue can avoid playing licensed repertoire.

2. Collecting societies

3. You must verify every source

Keep evidence of the licences you rely on (screenshots of the licence, subscription receipts, Jamendo attribution requirements, source URLs). Rules differ per country, per venue type and per size, and they can change — check with your local collecting society or legal advisor.

4. Audio processing

5. Personal use of the consumer edition

The consumer High Fidelity Radio Player is for private listening. Do not use it for public or commercial playback of licensed radio: that normally requires a licence or permit from your local collecting society (Buma/Stemra, SABAM/PlayRight, GEMA, …) and unlicensed public performance can be fined. Use this venue edition instead, with royalty-free sources.

6. Advertising

This edition carries the same anonymous A-ads advertising as the consumer edition. The ads are cookie-free and not targeted at individuals. Ad frames are third-party content that we do not control.

7. Liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damage, fine, back-dated fee or other consequence arising from how you use it or from the music sources you choose.

8. Licence and contact

Free software under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Contact: info@highfidelityradioplayer.com. See also the privacy policy.
